MIRACLEAN 8000 AND MIRACLEAN 8000S ALKALINE DESCALANT FOR REMOVING SCALE AND CORROSION DEPOSITS IN THE CRYSTILLIZERS, SYRUPLINE, SPRAY POND LINE, VACCUM PUMP ETC.
INTRODUCTION :
Deposits arising out of corrosion (iron oxide) and scales are prevalent in the crystallizes both vertical and others in the Sugar mills. MAKARA through R&D have developed a powerful alkaline descalant (MIRACLEAN 8000) and scrubbing agents (MIRACLEAN 8000S) to remove corrosion deposits and scales completely:
ADVANTAGE:
- Maintain the capacity utilization of the crystallizes.
- Optimum heat transfer by the cooling coils.
- Required temperature for massecuite and proper purging of the centrifugals.
- Reduction in process time and proper crystallization of sugar.
METHOD OF CLEANING:
- Live steam and water connection are to be provided to the external chemical tank.
- Primary cold water circulation for two hours (this helps during subsequent chemical circulation, wetting inner surface of the cooling coils and removing visible dirts).
- Five percent (5%) of MIRACLEAN 8000 on the coil volume is taken and circulated at 100 to 110 degree centigrade for 4 to 6 hours.
- Cold-water circulation is done for one hour to give thermal cracking of scales and corrosion deposits.
- Five percent (5%) of MIRACLEAN 8000S on the tube volume is taken and circulated at 60 to 65 degtree temperature for 2 to 3 hours and complete corrosion deposits and scales are removed out of the equipments into the additional chemical tank.
NATURE OF CHEMICALS:
MIRACLEAN 8000 consist of wetting agents, iron oxide digesters, surfactants, alkalies and imported versenes.
MIRACLEAN 8000 S contains cleansing agents, scrubbing bubbles and penetrating agents to scrub out the chemicals softened and removed by MIRACLEAN 8000.
