MAKEXTRACT 6000 JUICE EXTRACTION AID

In Sugar Industry, with dry crushing the limit of juice extraction is soon reached; after the first mill the fibre content of the bagasse would be 30% and the bagasse leaving the succeeding mills respectively.

Dry crushing in any succeeding mills will not give an appreciable increase in extraction and hence to achieve any further extraction, it is necessary to dilute the residual juice in the bagasse before further crushing.

Instead of adding only imbibition water, if cell opening chemicals and surfactants are added along with inbibition water, the juice extraction can be increased considerably.

Our MAKEXTRACT 6000 reduces the surface tension in the inbibition water from 72 to 38 dynes per cm² and it penetrates into the cells of the cane fibre to give more extraction.
